Leagues

Leagues are the core of the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club's activities. Some curlers choose to build their own teams; others choose to "mix it up" by allowing the league's drawmaster to pick their teammates. Most teams include players with a broad range of experience so senior curlers can help new folks to continue to develop their skills.

Each season starts with a round robin and ends with playoffs. Players who can't commit to a whole season can still play by signing up for our spares list.

Costs

The price for leagues is set by Sharks Ice, the rink owners, and is typically about $20 per 2 hour session, or $200 - $250 for a season. The SFBACC is now holding sign-ups on our own site - check the front page for details and a link to the sign-up form before each season.

The "Blue Pumas" - uniforms aren't necessary or common at the league-level, but they rock!
