Use the form below to register your team for the SFBACC intra-club playdowns for the 2015 Men's and Women's Arena National Championships to be held July 16-19, 2015 in Cedar Rapids, IA. The goal of this event is to help arena curlers get national-level experience and to build the arena curling community. Like other national championships, the event will have officials and timed games - something few arena curlers have an opportunity to experience. Arena Nationals is expected to feature 16 men's and 16 women's teams selected by a regional lottery from all entries.
It is time for our annual election of officers and directors of the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC). The election will close at 8pm Monday, March 23, 2015. Election will be conducted both by paper ballot on the night of the Annual General Meeting and by an electronic voting period.

From the USCA:
Please let your club members know that all curlers are invited to participate in an online USA Curling Webinar to learn more about opportunities for curlers to compete at the national level. Sam Williams, Chair of Grassroots Competitions, will discuss the growing number of championship events available to curlers across the country. He will also be able to answer your questions about recent developments in the rules. In addition, Shelley Dropkin, past president of the United States Women’s Curling Association, will discuss developmental programs offered by the USWCA. Some may be surprised to learn that several of these developmental programs are open to participants of both genders!
We had great turnout for our series of competitive curling meetings last week. For anyone who couldn't make it, below are the details of the events and deadlines discussed. Please note that the event information provided is subject to change. Please consult the USCA website, USCA rulebook, and websites referenced below for complete information.
