US Women's Curling Association (USWCA)
The United States Women's Curling Association (USWCA) was created in 1947 and works to encourage grassroots and women's curling. To achieve this, the USWCA sponsors a number of bonspiels and provides special funding to clubs and individuals. The San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club joined the USWCA in 2006. If you're interested in joining, contact the SFBACC rep at USWCA@bayareacurling.com.

Michael Young - At-Large Board Candidate 2009
Michael Young has been a member of the SFBACC curling club since 2007. I've been the social committee chair for the past year and organized last year's 50th anniversary banquet and this past summer's BBQ. I was also an active member for the golden gate bonspeil. Michael has been curling for approximately 10 years, starting when he grew up in Alberta Canada - since joining the SFBACC, most of the time, he's curled in the Fremont leagues. I look forward to serving our club if elected.
