Ice Technician Courses in Canada
The Northern Ontario Curling Association is offering Ice Technician Level 1 and Level 2 classes June 24-27. The USCA will accept this as part (or all) of the required work for US certification. (Contact the USCA for full details.) more information on the class
All-Club Meeting

Getting Started in Competitive Curling
So, you want to get involved in competitive curling? Here's a general overview of the process:
Pick the event that's right for you. If you're just getting started, try a USWCA 5 & Under. These are bonspiels for curlers with 5 or fewer years of experience and some are open to both men and women. You might also want to consider Club Nationals, the Pacific International Cup, and the USWCA All-American or National - they're great places to get experience and meet other aspiring competitors.

Local Curlers Take Silver at Deaf World Championships
Congratulations to JoDee Dike-Johnson, Karen Officer and all of Team USA who won silver at the Deaf World Championships! This is the second silver for our ladies in this event.
Pacific Int'l Cup Results
Cogratulations to the California men's and women's teams who both finished with winning records of 4-3. Well done!
