2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Curling Invitational

Hosted by the Denver Curling Club in Golden, Colorado
The Denver Curling Club invites you to our 2nd Annual Invitational Event: The Rocky Mountain Curling Invitational, Sept. 20-23, 2018 If you participated last year…Thanks! If you are new signing up for this 2nd annual invitational event then welcome! We look forward to another great event.

Join other top club teams from around North America in a competitive bonspiel without the high costs and bureaucratic hurdles of other invitationals. We will use a round robin format with a six (6!) game guarantee, meaning you will know all your game times and can plan sightseeing around them. There will be no gender requirements; please just send us your best club team! Think of it as an open version of Club Nationals. While we have no official residency requirements, we would prefer teams to have at least 3 members come from the same club or region.

The event will consist of 8-end games using the new five-rock rule. As a club level event, there will be no officials or timers. Teams are expected to finish in approximately two hours. Cash and other prizes will be awarded on Sunday at 1:30 pm.

We are limiting this to 16 teams to give everyone an opportunity to get to know each other. September and a new curling season will be here quickly! In order to plan a successful event we need a commitment from your club or region by August 1.

Team entry fee - $500
Deposit of $250 to hold your spot.
Balance due Sept. 1.

As with any great bonspiel there will be plenty of food, drinks and swag. We may have optional practice ice or an opening night happy hour on Wednesday September 19 and games will start early Thursday morning. Saturday night will include a sit down dinner.

Please contact us with any questions. We look forward to welcoming you to Denver this fall.

Sincerely,

Rocky Mountain Curling Invitational Committee
